"You walking, your footprints are
the road, and nothing else;
there is no road, walker
you make the road by walking.
By walking you make the road,
and when you look backward,
you see the path that you
will never step on again.
Walker, there is no road,
only wind-trials in the sea."
Anthony Machado

I am curious to hear what readers think of this poem. Please send your comments and tomorrow I will respond and give you my two cents!

Hey Cindy Lou It will take me a week to think about all this stuff. I haven't ever thought of myself as a Leader but that doesn't mean I haven't led. I also,as you know, prefer the safe path. I do however know exactly where I am going and am very grateful for it. You are one of the Mentors and friends in my life who has been there for me in the good times and the bad. love Suzanne sorry I am under Abby's email

Hi Cind,

Good poem and I like the message. I find it more true than "discovering your path" as if it's just waiting for you to hook into. George Bernard Shaw wrote "Life is not about finding yourself, Life is about creating yourself."

Today I am taking care of sick kids and worrying that they won't be able to make up the work that they are missing. Why is this so much more MY worry than theirs???

Love ya,
